HOCKEY “POWER SKATING” BACKGROUND
Since 2005 - Power skating coach to multiple hockey players around the country, some include NHL Players Eric Nystrom,Kevan Miller, Shane Harper & AHL Player, Bryan Moore. Currently primary skating coach for The Charlotte RUSH Junior Hockey USPHL-Elite & Empire. Also worked with Team Carolina U14 & U16, Charlotte Jr. Checkers 2015National Team, Referee District & Player Development Camps.
Growing up and training in Simsbury, CT, Danielle has learned the quality fundamentals of power skating & edge development from elite coaches. Danielle now translates her figure skating knowledge to hockey players from beginners to the professional level. The goal is toimprove a hockey player’s biomechanics, edge quality, power, transitions, starts, strength on the puckand overall performance in the game. Danielle coaches in hockey skates so that she can demonstrate and relate more to a hockey players stride and skating technique. As most of you know, there is a huge difference from a Figure to hockey blade.
